S4aArticles is a DNN module with many possibility’s that can be used for several purposes such as a news module, an announcement module or an easy to use content module.
The package contains the following modules:
S4aArticles (see page 'Articles')
This is the module where articles are created and edited. Begin and end date's are available.
Because of its publish possibilities you can let authors write the articles and let editors publish the articles.
The articles can be categorized in multiple categories and can contain several files and links.
S4aArticlesCategories (see on the left side)
This is the module for navigation where categories and articles are shown in a verticalmenu. Also the categories are created and edited here.
Categories can contain subcategories. Subcategories can also contain subcategories. In that way you can create a tree with as many childs as you want.
Also available, special categories:
- Search: this allows the users to search the articles (also an advance search option)
- Archive: user can provide 2 dates: this shows articles which are expired and between those dates.
- News: a categorie with all articles marked as 'news' in the S4aArticles module
- Link: you can mark a category as a link (when you want to use the categories for a wider perspective)
S4aArticlesInterests (see page 'Interests')
Through this module users (subscribers) have a possibility to provide points of interest (categories).
When an article is changed or added in the category that the users marked as a point of interest, they will receive an email.
S4aArticlesRss (see page 'RSS')
Module for RSS feeds, for all categories or a specified one.
S4aArticlesLatest (see on the left side)
A module who shows the latest articles with possibility for showing articles only marked as news.
